Community Guidelines
Last updated: December 30, 2025
iVnchr is built for adventure video sharing and real-world adventure meetups. These guidelines explain what’s allowed and what isn’t across videos, comments, profiles, and meetups.
Quick rule: Be respectful, don’t endanger people, don’t spam, and don’t expose private info.
1. Respect & Harassment
We want a community where people can share and meet up without being attacked.
- No harassment or bullying: insults, slurs, targeting someone repeatedly, or encouraging others to pile on.
- No threats or credible harm: threats of violence, stalking threats, or “I’m coming for you” type content.
- No hate speech: content that attacks people based on protected characteristics.
- No impersonation: pretending to be another person/brand to mislead others.
2. Quality & Spam
- Spam or promotional content: repetitive comments, link dumping, “DM me for $$$,” engagement bait, or mass-posting.
- Scams or deceptive behavior: phishing, fake giveaways, fake “verification,” or anything meant to trick users.
- Off-topic or low-quality content: content that’s irrelevant, disruptive, or low-effort spam for the context.
3. Safety & Risk
Unsafe or misleading outdoor advice
Because iVnchr is adventure-focused, unsafe advice is a real harm vector.
- Don’t encourage dangerous actions (e.g., “no water needed,” “ignore weather closures,” “go off-trail into a closed area”).
- Don’t present high-risk techniques as “easy” without context (route difficulty, conditions, experience required).
Violence or dangerous content
- Graphic violence, gore, or content celebrating violence is not allowed.
- Encouraging others to commit violence is not allowed.
Self-harm or suicide content
- Content promoting self-harm or suicide is not allowed.
- If you or someone you know is in danger, seek local emergency help immediately.
Illegal activity or instructions
- Don’t share instructions that facilitate wrongdoing or illegal activity.
- Don’t post content showing serious illegal acts.
Nudity or sexual content
- Explicit sexual content is not allowed.
- Non-explicit nudity may be restricted/removed depending on context and exposure.
Minor safety / exploitation
- Any sexual content involving minors is not allowed (including “implied” content).
- Content that exploits or endangers minors is not allowed.
4. Privacy & Rights
- Privacy violations: sharing private info without consent (phone, email, address, IDs, private messages).
- Doxxing: exposing personal info to target or endanger someone (even if “public elsewhere”).
- Copyright infringement: posting content you don’t have rights to (music/video/footage) in a way that violates rights.
5. Reporting
If you see something that violates these guidelines, use the report feature. False reports may lead to action against your account.
6. Enforcement Actions
Depending on severity and history, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Reduce Visibility: content remains visible but is ranked down.
- Warning: notice sent to the user.
- Remove Content: the video/comment is deleted.
- Strike: recorded against the account (may lead to restrictions if repeated).
- Temporary Restriction: limited features for a set period (e.g., 7 days).
- Block: account access removed.
- Delete Account: permanent removal for severe or repeated violations.
7. Appeals
Some moderation actions can be appealed.
- One appeal maximum per action.
- Appeals are reviewed by a moderator and may be approved or denied.
- Some decisions may be final (for example, severe safety/privacy cases).
